International Tax Lead (SM or Dir) – Ohio / Michigan, USA

We are currently working with a Top 50 national CPA firm who seek to hire an international tax lead (Experienced SM or Director) to join their leadership group based in the Mid West. This opportunity can be conducted from anywhere in the mid-west with preference to being Ohio or Michigan based.

The firm combines a breadth of international audit, assurance, tax and consulting services with local market knowledge and international strength.  With offices across the USA and Europe, the firms seeks continued International expansion.

This opportunity will be largely focussed on practice development and consulting engagements as it relates to US corporations and individuals and their family’s complex US tax issues. This could include, Trusts, Gift tax issues, delinquency, structuring and planning.  The firm seeks someone who is at the top of their game, charismatic and has the gravitas to deliver presentations and bring new clients into the firm.

You will have broad ranging US international corporate and individual tax experience including experience with amnesty cases such as OVDP. You will be given a huge amount of autonomy in this role and you will be expected to develop and staff the US tax practice as you see fit. You will need to be CPA, EA or JD/LLM qualified and possess 10+ years US tax experience.
